Scout, I got yo' back!

It's all well and good to celebrate Halloween, I can understand the dressing up, the candy (yes, I've adopted the American term fitting for the occasion), and I've even accepted the themed parties, even the decorations that seem to be ever-presently everywhere in supermarkets and coffee shops.
But what I don't understand is this: Why did not one person wish my dog a happy birthday. There were no celebratory statuses, no fanatic cosplaying of my cooot buttsniffing Scout. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. You should all be ashamed. I expect better next year.

Happy Birthday, Scout. It's just you and me, but I still got youuuu.
