I’m really ocd/anal about my book conditions. When packages from bookdep etc arrives, I straight away check for bent cover corners or whatever.

I don’t think I can even shove a book into my backpack. Too much anxiety. LOL then again, same thing with hardcovers, ripping their jackets…

most of my more recent books are fillef with dogered pages bc I like certain things on them

Started reading Tiger Lily yesterday night.
Getting so dark... I'm not sure how I feel about it, though I am captivated by the world Anderson paints for us. Laughing at reviews about how people didn't expect the dark and tragic turns... notsureifsrs. Honestly. First chapter, first paragraph, it clearly foreshadows what lays ahead.

Looking forward to Rowell's one too, although that would probably be last of the 3 I'll read

 since MBY seems a little depressing.

However, from the reviews I've watched on Rowell's E&P and attachments novel
her endings aren't great which pretty much drags the book down.

Also paperback and hardcover dilemma all over. 

My Ahern's If You Could See Me Now has definitely seen better days
On the other hand, I'll regret so bad if the hardcover book is really disappointing.
YES I STILL BUY PHYSICAL COPIES OF BOOKS.
