I looked up for something other than the weather,
something that is rarely done these days and I saw the scrunched up paper mache building.

The same one that self-branded itself as "innovative".
I thought it odd for so much effort to be put into architecture today...

for so many had their heads buried in their hands when walking down the street.
Then thought further, that perhaps they were punishing me for looking up from my tiny screen

and had built such awful buildings for people like me to keep our damned noses down.
