May21protest ft. some guy named Jarrod

The rally was so gooood ^_____________________^

 I didn't manage to get much good pics or vids 

cos I decided to enjoy myself in the moment (lesson learnt NYE'13)

 Can't believe students from newcastle uni actually came hahaha.

and so many smokebombs too

Pre-march gathering and speeches.

My mate had to leave half-march for work );

So I had to befriend another guy to ask what the crowd were chanting LOL.

Most were along the lines of

"No ifs, no buts, no education cuts."

"No cuts.
no fees.

No corporate universities"

"Tony abbott,
fuck you,

 we deserve a future too."

"Tony abbott/ Chris pyne/ Joe hockey we know what you're all about.

Cuts.

Job losses.

Money for the bosses."

"Tony is a wanker"

Stalked the guy with the mic so we could get the best spot haha.

 We full blocked george st and did a sit in too HAHAHAHA. 

People from offices were all wtf and the choppers came.

Heaps of cops as expected- freaking on horses too.

But apparently not as bad as what happened at melbourne, since the cops
just let us sit and block for a while hahaha. 3-4k too much.

Though it got so violent at the end when we reached town hall and cops 

wanted to strategically disperse the crowd so kept separating us.

Kept pushing and shit to the point it just became "fak the po po"
and "get the animals off the horses" LOOOL.

ofc rubbed them the wrong way....

My newly befriended mate and I were like lets back uppp....

Swear, the crowd didn't give a shit about the city traffic... it was like watching the cops and protestors play bullrush. hurhur.  

But it got so serious and aggressive at one point... cos those marxist people are craaazy.

I was just standing at the back whilst cops and students pushed against each other thinking...
"This is it I'm going to be arrested by accident or just being a bystander... my time has come"

And so, I stand by my conclusion that the socialist club members

are fucking insane. 

 Other than that, that was a pretty fun rally HAHAHA.
