There's a sweet, yet painful realisation that often comes
with having lunch at my mate's Nonna's place.
There's the deep satisfaction that comes with having home-made gnocchi that can bring me close to tears. This is then followed a short while later by the trauma that comes afterwards knowing that I won't be able to eat any Italian food for at least 6 months now.
