So prior to heading to Amy's 21st I decided to go pick Sarah up after work and trek together
(also so we could be fashionably late and somehow escape early to have dinner).

So I think I've reached a new high of how Aussie I am...

cos when I was at work on Friday I tried killing a spider 

but failed when I checked the bottom of my shoe for the body which was not there.
And I was 70% certain that it bit me on the leg but didn't bother telling anyone

since I wasn't sure if I was just paranoid itching or it was a mozzie bite.

Anyway, today when my mum (bless her) saw me itching at my leg

she was all stopppp.

Then I told her nonchanantly that I may have been bitten by a spider

and there she is just losing her shit,
panicking like no tomorrow and telling me off.
To be honest, IDK why I thought sitting this out and seeing 

how things would turn out would be the best idea at the time instead of telling my teammembers/managers
LOL then again, I didn't want to make a big deal in case false alarm.

I mean it's been 24 hours already and nothing abnormal has happened,

So I'm pretty sure I'm fine and it was a false alarm.

... 80% certain.

Also. I blame Lydia.
Cos when I told her about it, she reminded me about

the time when she told me she thought a spider dropped into her Dare iced coffee

and I proceeded to tell her to shake the drink to kill it

and see if any bodies floated up. HAHAHA.
